They’re quite close with each other. During their time at the Academy, she founds out about his insomnia and tries to help distract him from the voices in his head through either inviting him to her daily morning training or doing her best to keep him company at night.
She does all she can to treat Dimitri as a normal person, so he can have some kind of normalcy that is rarely seen for him as the crown prince. She drops all kinds of formality with him, as he requested when arriving at the Officers Academy.

Sylvain used to flirt with her whenever they were together, but soon realized that it was better to just treat her as a normal friend and stopped flirting with her.
