He has always enjoyed being out in the sun and playing with flowers. He likes making crowns to cheer up his little sister. Everyone looks better if they have a flower in their hair.

As much as he would like to frolic in a field of flowers, Heliodor is scared of his new family dying because of his helplessness, so he trains and trains in hopes of making a difference.

From a young age, Heliodor has always been told and has always known that he was beautiful. His appearance is the one of the main things he takes pride in and is quite vain about it. Whenever someone compliments him or tries to make a subtle jab that “all he has going for him is his face,” he will always take it in stride!!
…Heliodor can be quite dense. Despite growing up as a noble where everyone speaks with double meanings, he takes everyone’s words at face value. He often misconstrues people’s words in a positive meaning, which often irritates those who are trying to give him a back-handed compliment. However, this doesn’t mean that Heliodor won’t know if you insult him straight to his face. He’ll confront you about it then and there and no matter what you say, he’ll somehow win in the end because he’ll bring up the fact that he’s prettier and they can’t do anything about it.
One of the things he hates the most is pity. When people give him those kind of looks while he’s training (aka trying to lift an axe), it irritates him and makes him want to train 100x more, out of spite. However, doing so will knock him out and make him unable to get out of bed for a while.
Pity is also one of the few things Heliodor won’t confront someone for—and that’s only because he is an insane overthinker. Somehow, shape or form, he’ll somehow think people have figured out that he’s actually from House Hrym and will go down an insane rabbit hole that’ll keep him up at night. This applies to whenever he’s around Jeritza—Heliodor firmly believes that man knows about his past and is just waiting for the perfect moment to kill him.
Being an older brother and having had so many people die due to his lack of strength, Heliodor has a strong sense of responsibility—he never pins the blame on someone else and only ever blames his inability to protect others. This is the main reason why he is obsessed with becoming stronger (though, this desire has gotten misconstrued into being strong physically to him).
The best thing about him (besides his beauty) is that he never gives up—no matter how grim the situation may be or how many times fate kills the most important people to him and almost him, he always somehow finds the strength to stand back up again and continues fighting to ensure everyone else live for another day.

During the Academy Phase, Heliodor is just a boy trying to survive whatever the world is trying to throw at him. Having felt useless in several situations during this childhood, he focuses on becoming stronger and strengthening his body—even if it means doing several laps around the training ground and eating meat!!
Everyone tends to find his actions comedic. Under all that laughter, Heliodor is secretly fearing for his life. Every second Jeritza is even mentioned around him, he’ll break in a cold sweat and freeze up.
During the War Phase, Heliodor’s mind has calmed down a lot—no longer overthinking as much as he used to, but he has an even greater sense of responsibility now that the people of House Ordelia rest on his shoulders. (If A Supported w/ Lysithea) He’ll curse how dense he uses to be in his younger years, having lived so blissfully when Lysithea had been living with a timer on her life.
However, he still has that side of him who will always want to be stronger!
