She has always preferred being light-hearted than being serious. Making innuendos are her favorite way of rebelling against her mother. However, she often uses jokes to deflect from talking about herself.

GENERAL (wip)

From far away, Aislyn comes across as unapproachable and intimidating (especially to those of lower-birth)—due to her status and the way she carries herself. As the heir and oldest child of House Erebus, it’s expected of her to perfect everything in order to make up for the lack of a Crest. There is a disparity between the distant relatives of House Erebus—there is a side to them that is proud that they are able to hold the position of a Marquis / Marchioness despite not having a Crest, but they are also envious of the eastern territories in Faerghus who have long lineages who bear Crests.

Under this pressure, it’s been ingrained into every heir of House Erebus, including Aislyn, to master noble etiquette and magic—the two things the noble house takes pride in. So, from a young age, Aislyn has been taught to behave like a proper noble lady by her mother who went through the same thing many years ago and faith and reason magic by her parents.

Childhood

• Contrary to her disposition, Aislyn was a very hot-headed child and and often got into scrabbles with other kids. The first thing her mother, Fallon, made her learn was how to hide her emotions—especially her anger. As a result, Aislyn has a bad habit of hiding all of her issues and struggles and will rarely ever reach out to someone for help.
  • Even as she’s grown older, she still has quite a bad temper—she just forces herself let it accumulate inside her mind and eventually she’ll end up exploding on an unfortunate soul…

Demeanor

How does she present herself to the world?

• She is the very definition of an elegant noble with the way she holds herself. She always has perfect posture and a polite smile when talking to acquaintances.
• Aislyn grew up being told by her mother that she has to present herself as perfectly as possible. She has been given etiquette lessons by her mother ever since she was a young child, so it’s practically ingrained into her to have good posture and etiquette at all times—she does it unconsciously at this point.
• After getting past the initial hurdle of just talking to her, you’ll learn she’s a laidback girl who loves to joke and play around. But, that’s as far as you’ll get to see—the noble girl who seems intimidating at first but isn’t as closed off as she seems once you get to know her.
  • She keeps all of her worries and personal details to herself—never being the first to share any of her struggles.

Mannerisms

• Prior to the time-skip, she often eats quietly and doesn’t express much emotions during meals. However, if you cook her one of her favorite meals, she’ll practically moan.
  • After the time-skip, she is more expressive while eating!! Though, she still doesn’t show if she dislikes a certain type of food and will finish her plate regardless.
• When she was a child, she tried to act as if she was way more mature than she actually was—imitating how her mother acts—but just ended up being an annoying know-it-all kid.
• Aislyn is used to initiating physical affection—which stems from her often praising her younger siblings as she would usually hug them, ruffle their hair, or throw her arms around their shoulders.
  • She often received physical affection all the time from her father and sometimes from her mother, but after he died, she stopped receiving it altogether when her mother turned strict and distant. Eventually, this would make her not being used to receiving physical affection—always having to take a second to adjust.

Speech

• With strangers, she talks politely and formally with others.
  • Often times in C Supports, Aislyn will talk more politely with others. But as the supports go on, she becomes more casual.
• She listened to her parents all the time when she was a child. However, after the death of her father, her mother become stricter with her. As a result, Aislyn started rebelling against her mother and started to become more informal—or at least tries to. It’s hard to instantly break old habits…
  • Aislyn started making ‘your mom’ and innuendos because of her mom and her father’s death.

Socials

How does she interact with strangers, acquaintances, friends, family? What about someone she dislike or like?

• She adapts easily in social environments, but tends to keep people at arm’s length emotionally.
• She is very perceptive of the people around her, always analyzing people’s body language. However, there are times when she is oblivious, such as things concerning herself (like rumors).
• With people Aislyn doesn’t like, most times she’ll swallow any grieves she have with that person. However, if someone keeps rubbing her the wrong way, then she’ll be passive aggressive since. At worst, she’ll be ruthless and blunt. When talking with a noble, she will use formal noble speech and the backhanded compliments that nobles like to use.
