She’s a pretty good liar — that is when she’s composed!! She can lie to your face without blinking, having had years of experience with lying to nobles and hiding her feelings from them. However!! Once you catch her off-guard and see through one lie, you can see through the rest. Aislyn will always fiddle with something — like her own hands, shirt, or her hair — or rub her neck when she’s lying.

Not really, but Aislyn loveeees to tell ghost / scary stories to her younger siblings!! It started as a way to distract them their parents arguing that echoed in the halls and now she’s gotten quite good at telling them. She doesn’t really know if ghosts actually exists or not and doesn’t really want to spend too much time thinking about it since she’d rather worry more about the living people.

She has a hard time dealing with being vulnerable or being helpless and grief. With her mom being distant after her dad’s death (when Aislyn was 13-14 ish), Aislyn had to become more independent — especially since she’s da older sister of three.
From a young age, she had to bottle up her own grief and grievances and never really had the chance to ever express them, so she usually never ever says when someone really bothers her. She will complain about small things like being tired or her homework being boring and etc, but never about serious things that are close to her.

She doesn’t cry that easily and doesn’t do it in public. She’d cry whenever emotions are running high or is under a lot of stress and she’s just so frustrated and unable to properly convey her thoughts.

She has a bit of patience when being provoked but it mostly depends on where she is. If it’s a casual setting (like a bar), then it would take her a few minutes to start throwing punches. However, if it’s in a formal setting (like a ball or tea party), then she wouldn’t at all.

She tends to keep her grievances or issues to herself, having grown up used to keeping her complaints and hiding her annoyances inside her from a young age.

Her family used to be a really happy one!! Her father often doted on her and her young twin siblings (Iselda and Eidan) and her mother, despite being a more naturally closed off person, often hung out with them with soft smiles.
But after her father died, her mother became more strict and cold with her children. Aislyn’s relation with her mother deteriorated a lot to the point where before she doesn’t really talk to her mom before she left for Garreg Mach. She keeps in contact with her younger siblings through letters, though, and is quite close to them.

She definitely goes straight into fight!!! Driven by war, she’s gotten used to being in the mindset of “Do or Die” or something like that.

It takes her some time to go to sleep — like she has to lay one or two hours in bed before she falls asleep. She’ll knock tf out if she’s like extremely tired. Cuddling helps her fall asleep faster.

She usually eats da full English breakfast for breakfast, but her comfort breakyy would def be French toast!!! She prefers French toast > waffles > pancake.

Her birthday is on January 11. However, since it’s on the same day as Saint Seiros day, her family used to celebrate it the day before or later in the day (after going to Garreg Mach for the celebration mass they hold. She enjoys celebrating her birthday, especially when it’s actually on her actual birthday.

She loveees Peach Sorbet the most!!! She has a huge sweet-tooth, but doesn’t get many chances to eat desserts to due her diet back at home.

Aislyn has a personal chef who cooks food for her whenever she needs food!!! However if this is set in a Modern AU, then Aislyn often orders out since she lives by herself as an adult and just doesn’t have the energy to make food after a taxing day of work.

Typically, she prefers drinking cold drinks!! She loves strawberry banana and pina colada flavored smoothies!!! Sometimes, she’ll drink an iced hibiscus tea if she ever needs the caffeine in the morning.

Yes, she does!!! She’s kinda forced to eat everything on her plate since she was taught to never leave anything behind on her plate or else it’s rude. She loves her pears, cuties, corn, and lettuce.

She likes chocolate and red velvet!! She doesn’t really care for the flavors since she still gets a cake in the end!!

Her lance was an gift that her father gave her a year or two before he died. She uses it whenever she goes on the monthly missions and makes sure to keep it in top shape. If she ever loses it, she’ll stress and spend the next couple of days wondering where she left it. If she never ends up finding it, she’ll accept it after a week, but cry herself to sleep that night.
She also have a gold ribbon that her mother used to tie in her hair all the time before her father died, but after that, her mother stopped. After arriving at the Academy, she started using it to braid apart of her hair.

Most of the time, it’s a slow boil, but sometimes if she hears something so outrageous or out of pocket, then it’s instant and she loses it.

She enjoys the spring and fall seasons since that’s the perfect time to train!! And go on walks through the garden. Though, post-timeskip, she started preferring the fall and winter seasons since she often has to cover up all of her skin to hide her scars and she ends up sweating a lot during the hotter season because of it.

Yes, Aislyn always gets up early in the morning for her daily training session!! She used to get up before the sun rises, but post-timeskip, she pushed it back to after the sun is rising. She’s not as young as she used to be.

Not really…since that usually means Aislyn gets a lot of letters from suitors asking for her hand in marriage or to go out on a date to “get to know each other” so they can get married.” If you count these as confessions, then Aislyn has been confessed to multiple times before, but she has never confessed to anyone before.

It would be an insensitive comment about the dead, her family/friends, or herself—something that lets Aislyn know that this person doesn’t actually understand her and doesn’t ever intend to, having no regard or respect for her.

It was how often her parents fought each other. When she was 12 or 13, her parents were always arguing and yelling at her each — and doors were always being slammed. She often had to worry about her younger siblings and did whatever she could to distract them from the yelling.
She remembers how her father grumbling and whispering something she couldn’t understand at the time while dragging her along on a carriage trip the capital after a particular bad fight a few weeks before the Tragedy of Duscur happened. Aislyn sometimes wonders if she could have done more to stop her parents.

uhhhh I wanted her to be someone who didn’t want to follow expectations—like she was born into a lone line of magic users, but Aislyn didn’t want to use magic and isntead sues the lance. That ended up not being her main focus though LMAO. I also knew I wanted her hair to be red LOL, i like me red haired ocs hehe

She definitely can!! Aislyn would definitely be a jock in a modern AU. She would be great on the offensive and her power and speed would be her strongest skills. Though, she doesn’t pace herself often, so she gets fatigued quite often.

Aislyn does NAWTT know how to swim at all. She never had the chance and the heavy dress she wears would make her drown anyway. She tends to avoid submerging her whole body in large bodies of water and only ever goes in up to her knees — she doesn’t want anyone to find out and tease her about it.
